Agenda

While highlighting recent progress in the disciplines of energy constrained networking, autonomy and control of small air and ground platforms, and multi-modal perception, the overall goal is to illuminate the tradeoffs and multidisciplinary challenges in achieving collaborative behaviors, including:
  • communication and processing tradeoffs, network setup and maintenance
  • heterogeneity
  • distributed control
  • effects of environmental disturbances and noise in process dynamics
  • electronics
  • multi-modal sensor fusion
The workshop speakers are largely drawn from experts in robotics with experience in fielding small-scale robotic systems with applications to defense, security, and environmental applications.
