Agenda
While highlighting recent progress in the disciplines of energy constrained networking, autonomy and control of small air and ground platforms, and multi-modal perception, the overall goal is to illuminate the tradeoffs and multidisciplinary challenges in achieving collaborative behaviors, including:
- communication and processing tradeoffs, network setup and maintenance
- heterogeneity
- distributed control
- effects of environmental disturbances and noise in process dynamics
- electronics
- multi-modal sensor fusion
The workshop speakers are largely drawn from experts in robotics with experience in fielding small-scale robotic systems with applications to defense, security, and environmental applications.
